Jason Stump discovered his passion for tap dance at age 11. Growing up in south-eastern PA, he studied tap in Delaware under the instruction of Scott Jacobs and Tracy Frizzwell-Jacobs. He choreographed two tap dance pieces for the West Chester University of PA Dance Company, where he obtained his BA in Theatre. He performed for two seasons in Matt Davenport Productions’ Tap: The Show at Hersheypark, choreographed by Mike Minery. Other credits include White Christmas (Walnut St. Theatre, Phila, PA), Gypsy (Bristol Riverside Theatre, Bristol, PA), Just Rock and Win! with Carnival Cruise Line, and the role of “Grover” in the national tour of Sesame Street Live: Can’t Stop Singing. Jason is thrilled to join CPD in 2014 and thanks Andrew for this incredible opportunity to grow as a tap dancer!
